We're pumped for the upcoming Shea Center Crit this weekend! Tonight is the last night for preregistration! 🚴♀️💨
We especially want to thank @velopromo for making the difficult decision to replace Suisun crit with Shea Center. We love the Suisun course and vibes, but limitations in the venue prevented enough separate fields for safe and fair racing, and unfortunately Women's fields took the brunt of the compressed schedule with a single P/1/2/3/4/5 field. Women's fields in the US have been historically smaller and we are glad to see a decision to change venues grounded in promoting safe and equitable race opportunities to help grow participation to equal numbers with men's racing. We sincerely appreciate the extra work that went on behind the scenes to switch the venue to one that would support more fields.
